Our Place in the Fuel Sector
The fuel operations of Reysaş are currently performed through the company headquarters and 9 Regional Directorates spreading throughout Turkey. With a management team consisting of 40 managers, a drivers’ team consisting of more than 200 drivers and with 158 fuel tankers owned by the company and 45 leased tankers.
The scope of the fuel operations include, JET A-1 and AVGAS jet fuels are delivered to the aircraft found in the airports, fuel products are distributed to the dealers and the facilities of the fuel distribution firms; transportation of LPG, and distribution of lubricants.
During the first quarter of 2007, Reysaş will begin to provide logistics services in the sector of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) with LNG tankers that are under the ownership of the company.
Reysaş is also engaged in the maritime and railway transportation of fuel in with its own sea vessel tankers and railway wagons equipped with fuel tanks. Reysaş has been providing services in this sector to the major Turkish and international firms since 1997.
During the last decade, Reysaş has undertaken an important role in the transportation of fuel from Turkey to Northern Iraq, and within a period of two years, it has successfully transported 600,000 tons of fuel in 34,000 individual operations. Reysaş is continuing its operations in the relevant area on periodical basis.
On annual basis, Reysaş realizes the transportation of more than 1,000,000 tons of fuel, through an average of 40,000 operations, by traveling a distance of 13,500,000 kilometers.
Pursuant to the Regulations, Reysaş owns L, R, K and C Certificates for highway transportation and EPDK (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) transportation license for highway transports; and holds the first and only EPDK railway transport license with serial number 1.
Fuel Fleet Vehicle Standards
A great majority of the fuels fleet of Reysaş, consist of semi-trailer tankers and tankers placed on the upper deck of trucks, equipped with ADR, filled from the lower section, with optic sensors against excess filling and overflow, made of aluminum, with 1-3-5-7-8-6 and 10 compartments, interlock system and with steam recycling mechanism. The company owns Mercedes, Renault and Scania brand trailers and trucks, most off which are vehicles equipped with ADR.
